Is AdWords Editor headed for retirement?

I'm not sure how many people on this forum are using Google AdWords. And of those who are, I have no idea how many might be using AdWords Editor?

Our company makes very good use of this tool, yet I’m starting to think that the life of AdWords Editor may soon be over.
