Good morning all,
I hope it's okay to post this here, but assumed it would be of interest to many of the forum's participants?
When it comes to our own websites, we tend to see them far more than anyone else. We get used to seeing them not as a visitor might see them, but as we hope they are seen. These two versions of reality are often quite distinct from one another.
Sharon Housley -
http://www.notepage.com - and Dave Collins -
http://www.sharewarepromotions.com - have been running a live website critique for many years, both at the Software Industry Conference and European Software Conference. The session has always been extremely popular, as Dave and Sharon offer their many years of experience to dissect, criticise and sometimes rip apart a website's appearance and setup.
Subjects covered include the initial impression created by a website, structure, navigation, communication, SEO setup and more.
On the 29th of April at 5:00 PM UK time (12:00 Eastern, 11:00 Central), Dave and Sharon are running a 40 minute live Website Critique Webinar - where participants can choose to sit passively and enjoy the show, or if they're brave enough, can offer their own website for dissection.
Please note that availability may be limited, and we will only have time to critique a limited number of websites.
I hope you can join us on the 29th.
