Ok, let me take a step back. It might not be an issue for all USB devices. The reason, I wrote that way is that IT Admin are seeing USB on desktop itself as a security issue. In some large BPO companies, they have asked for specific models to be manufactured without USB interface or disabled at the HW level. Given this situation I thought adding a USB interface to the Network will be of grave concern to IT Admins. I could be wrong. You might want to ping few more folks in the IT Admin area.
Your USB over network product looks very interesting... SME might like this. But large enterprise IT managers / administrators might see this as a hole in the network
